20 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients scheduled for elective cesarean section procedures at Suzhou University Affiliated Suzhou Ninth Hospital from December 25, 2023, to June 30, 2024; 2. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification I-II; 3. Age range: 20 to 40 years; 4. Full-term pregnancies; 5. Singleton pregnancies.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients exhibiting conditions such as psychosis, severe neurogenic disorders, or other incapacitating factors that preclude effective cooperation; 2. Patients with severe hypovolemia; 3. Patients presenting abnormalities in coagulation function; 4. Patients with localized infections at the puncture site; 5. Patients afflicted with central nervous system disorders; 6. Patients with spinal trauma, spinal deformities, or conditions of obligatory spinal inflammation; 7. Patients necessitating a modification from a midline approach to a lateral approach during the puncture process.
