Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age range from 18 to 70 years old; The diagnostic criteria of pre diabetes of the American diabetes Association were adopted: fasting blood glucose = 5.6 mmol/L,<6.9 mmol/L; Or (and) two hours after meals, blood glucose = 7.8mmol/L,<11mmol/L; Glycated hemoglobin: = 5.7%, < 6.5%; BMI greater than 18.5kg/m ²; Voluntarily participate in this study and sign an informed consent form;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Age less than 18 years old or greater than 70 years old; 2. Clinically diagnosed as diabetes; 3. BMI less than 18.5kg/m ²; 4. Individuals with significant vagus nerve dysfunction; 5. Individuals with cognitive dysfunction who are unable to communicate; 6. Patients with incomplete external ear or external ear skin diseases who are unable to perform ear acupoint stimulation; 7. Pregnant or lactating women; 8. Those who have taken drugs within the three months prior to enrollment that may affect the results of this study; 9. Poor control of severe hypertension, i.e. systolic blood pressure = 180mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure = 110mmHg; Patients with systolic blood pressure3 times the upper normal limit (150U/L) or serum total bilirubin (TB)>34.2 µ Mol/L (>2mg/dL); 11. Patients with a history of kidney disease or kidney related features: 1) unstable or rapidly progressing kidney disease history; 2) Patients with moderate/severe renal injury or end-stage renal disease: estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR)<60mL/min/1.73m2; 12. If any of the following cardiovascular diseases occur within the past 6 months: 1) myocardial infarction; 2) Cardiac surgery or revascularization (coronary artery bypass grafting/percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty); 3) Unstable angina pectoris; 4) Congestive heart failure (New York Heart Association grade III or IV); 5) Transient ischemic attack or significant cerebrovascular disease; 13. Have a history of acute or chronic infections, surgery, or severe trauma within the past three months; 14. Cardiovascular, renal, hepatic, hematological, oncological, endocrine, psychiatric, or rheumatic diseases currently determined by researchers to be unstable or severe; 15. Have a history of drug abuse, alcoholism, or drug abuse within the past 6 months; 16. Subjects who, at the judgment of the researcher, are unable to comply with the protocol, and patients with serious physiological or psychological disorders that may affect effectiveness or safety; 17. Individuals with allergic constitution; 19. Refuse to sign informed consent form.
