Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) From March 2022 to November 2022, children admitted to Jilin University First Hospital with a confirmed diagnosis of diabetes and diabetic ketoacidosis, excluding those with COVID-19 infection. From December 2022 to March 2023, patients admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with a confirmed diagnosis of diabetes and diabetic ketoacidosis, who also tested positive for COVID-19 antigen or nucleic acid, or had a history of contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case. (2) Insulin infusion therapy was initiated only after admission.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ?Age 16 years. ?The child has diabetes but does not have ketoacidosis.
