Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Mouth breathing group:Mouth breathing habit for at least half a year; age 6-18 years; history of adenoid hypertrophy Control group: pure nasal breathing pattern; age 6-18 years
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Mouth breathing group:History of orthodontic treatment; hereditary dental and maxillofacial deformities; history of other systemic diseases outside the sleep respiratory system; other bad oral habits: finger sucking, pacifier, tongue vomiting, etc.; history of cranial and maxillofacial congenital malformations, trauma, disease, surgery, cancer chemoradiotherapy;history of adenoid tonsillectomy surgery Control group:History of orthodontic treatment; hereditary dental and maxillofacial deformities; history of other systemic diseases outside the sleep respiratory system; other bad oral habits: finger sucking, pacifier, tongue vomiting, etc.; history of cranial and maxillofacial congenital malformations, trauma, disease, surgery, cancer chemoradiotherapy;
