Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Retrospective collection of patients who experienced falls during hospitalization at our center from October 2017 to October 2023; Falls are defined as any event where a patient accidentally lies on the ground, floor, or other lower level. ? Age = 18 years old; ? Falls reported and recorded according to the nursing adverse event reporting process; ? The first blood biochemical results after admission, serum sodium concentration, and classification criteria for fall injuries are based on the National Nursing Quality Index Database of the United States. ? The control group cases were matched with a 1:3 propensity score according to the case group.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Exclude patients who fall unintentionally due to human actions, intentional actions, or external forces Exclude patients with consciousness disorders and physical activity disorders. ? Exclude patients with missing key data such as serum sodium
