Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Age = 18 years. (2) According to the diagnostic criteria outlined in the ISPD guidelines for peritoneal dialysis-associated peritonitis [1]: (? Abdominal pain and/or turbid effluent, with or without fever; ? Peritoneal fluid analysis showing white blood cell count > 100/µL and/or > 50% polymorphonuclear cells), patients suspected of having peritoneal dialysis-associated peritonitis. (3) Patients willing to undergo tNGS testing at their own expense.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients who decline participation in the study or refuse to sign the informed consent form. (2) Patients with concomitant malignant tumors in the abdominal cavity.
