Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1)Ages range from 18-80 (2)Computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging scans confirmed compliance with the stroke diagnostic criteria of the 2005 Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Cerebrovascular Disease (3)First stroke episode and 1 month-6 months (4)Mild or moderate upper extremity dysfunction (Brunnstrom Upper Extremity Functional Classification >= 3) (5No severe cognitive impairment (6)Patients and family members gave informed consent for the study and signed an informed consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1)Previous stroke, cranial trauma, epilepsy, and other neurological related disorders (2)Patients with severe cognitive impairment, depression, aphasia unable to give information (3)Severe cardiovascular, pulmonary, hematologic, and rheumatic comorbidities (4)Have metal implants such as pacemakers or cochlear implants (5)Use of drugs that affect cortical excitability
