Experimental group:Respiratory function recovery window appears and airway protection ability is achieved through sequential non-invasive mechanical ventilation after extubation
Control group:After passing the assessment of SBT and airway protection ability, extubate and provide respiratory support as needed.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 18-80 years old; After the occurrence of acute respiratory failure, invasive mechanical ventilation treatment has been carried out for more than 24 hours, and the expected duration of invasive mechanical ventilation is = 2 days.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe heart, brain, liver, and kidney failure; Severe malnutrition; advanced tumor; tracheostomy; Inability to wear a nasal mask due to upper airway or facial injury; Unable to cooperate with non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
