Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >= 65 years old; 2. The American Society of anesthesiologists (ASA) I - IV; 3. Elective non-cardiac surgery with general anesthesia; 4. Duration of anesthesia > 2 hours; 5. BIS was used for intraoperative monitoring.; 6. Patients with completed postoperative 1-year survival status.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Complicated with cerebrovascular disease; 2. Combined with central nervous system diseases (including but not limited to infection, tumor, trauma, metabolic lesions); 3. Are using psychiatric medication; 4. Alcohol or opioid abuse; 5. Intraoperative use of ketamine or nitrous oxide; 6. Intraoperative wake-up; 7. Intraoperative BIS data missing > 20%; 8. Missing data due to various reasons.
