Group A:Patients with T1 colorectal adenocarcinoma undergoing endoscopic resection followed by surgery
Group B:Patients with T1 colorectal adenocarcinoma proceeded directly to the surgery

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria were as follows: 1) pathologically confirmed T1 stage primary colorectal adenocarcinoma, 2) high-risk factors requiring salvage surgery after endoscopic resection, and 3) scheduled for timely surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were as follows: 1) distant metastasis; 2) pathology showing neuroendocrine tumors, adenosquamous carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, lymphoma, or leiomyoma; and 3) additional surgery due to endoscopic treatment-related perforation or bleeding.
