Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Age of first onset over 60 years old; (2) Meets the diagnostic criteria for depression in DSM-5; (3) HAMD (17 items) score: total score = 17 points; (4) MoCA>15 points; (5) Education level above primary school, able to understand the content of the scale; (6) Obtain written informed consent from oneself or a family member.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) MMSE screening positive, MoCA = 14 points; (2) Excluding depression caused by other systemic diseases and organic brain lesions; (3) Excluding previous history of head diseases, brain injuries, seizures, and other neurological disorders; (4) Excluding a history of serious systemic diseases such as cardiovascular, respiratory, and immune systems; (5) Excluding a history of alcohol and morphine abuse; (6) Excluding metal implants such as dentures, arterial clips, pacemakers, or metal fixtures in the body; (7) Exclude patients who have undergone other physical therapies such as transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy, transcranial direct current therapy, and systematic psychological therapy for the past 6 months.
