Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1)18-80 year-old patients who underwent endoscopic thyroidectomy in PUMCH, (2)those who were not converted to open surgery during endoscopic thyroidectomy, (3)patients without previous cervical and chest deformities, patients without a history of cervical and thoracic surgery and trauma, (4)patients or their family members who was able to understand the research protocol and was willing to participate in this study and signed the consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Previous history of neck and chest trauma, surgery, or neck and chest deformities; (2) During the operation, it was found that there were patients with clear anatomical variations of the recurrent laryngeal nerve and tumor invasion of the recurrent laryngeal nerve; (3) Refusing to undergo endoscopic thyroid surgery; (4) Those who are unable to complete laparoscopic thyroid surgery due to various reasons; (5) Patients or family members are unable to understand the conditions and objectives of this study.
