Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adolescents aged 12-18 years with depression; 2. Reach the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V) Diagnostic criteria for depression; 3. Able to understand and complete the content of the scale; 4. Patients and guardians agree to participate in the study after fully understanding the study procedures and contents, and patients and guardians need to sign informed consent; 5. Normal control group: (1) No history of serious physical illness, head injury, or neurological disorders; (2) No previous history of mental illness; (3) Diagnosis of any mental illness that does not meet the DSM-V diagnostic criteria; (4) The patient and their family fully understand the research procedure and content before agreeing to participate in the study. Both the patient and their family members are required to sign an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Have a history of serious physical diseases, head trauma, and neurological diseases; 2. Previous history of alcohol dependence and psychoactive substance abuse; 3. There were ischemia, hypoxia, and severe birth injury at birth; 4. Organic brain problems were found in MRI examination; 5. There is a metal foreign body inside the skull; 6. With a pacemaker; 7. A history of epilepsy and a family history of epilepsy; 8. Meet the diagnosis of other major mental disorders in the DSM-V; 9. Participants with significant suicidal ideation.
