Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Between June 2021 and June 2023, a total of 50 patients with isolated chin deformities who sought treatment at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Shenzhen Stomatology Hospital(Pingshan) of Southern Medical University were retrospectively selected. Among them, 19 were male and 31 were female, aged between 20 and 35 years. Inclusion criteria were: normal occlusal relationship, no desire for orthodontic treatment, and a centered dental midline.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with temporomandibular joint disorders, intellectual disability, and an existing medical, physical, or mental condition.
