18 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. age =18 years; 2. patients voluntarily enrolled in the study and signed an informed consent form; and 3. mechanical ventilation was included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. those with rapidly progressing neuromuscular disease; 2. those admitted for central nervous system disorders such as the Guillain-barrés syndrome (GBS); 3. those with intrinsic frailty due to other medical conditions.
