Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. meet the diagnosis of severe pneumonia confirmed according to the 2016 edition of the Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Adult Acquired Pneumonia; 2. age =14 years; 3. mechanical ventilation for = 72 hours; 4. complete follow-up information;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. exclude patients not admitted to the ICU. 2. exclude patients not admitted to the ICU for the first time; 3. exclude medical records of deaths within 3 days of admission to the ICU; 4. exclude patients with secondary tracheotomy; 5. exclude primary diseases as cranial and cervical spinal cord injuries;
