Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ? 18 = Age = 80 years old; ? Patients with severe depression: meet the ICD-10 criteria for the classification and diagnosis of moderate to severe depression based on mental and behavioral disorders, with a score of more than 15 on the 24 items of the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD-24), initial onset, and admission without taking antidepressants, emotional stabilizers, or psychiatric drugs; ? BMI (kg/m2): 18-30; ? Having the ability to read and write, and able to independently complete assessment scales; ? Those who voluntarily participate in research and sign an informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ? Patients with a history of mental illness or recent use of antipsychotic and antidepressant drugs; ? Previous severe organic lesions such as heart, brain, and kidney; ? Having obvious infections or immune dysfunction diseases. ? Pregnant or lactating women;
