Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: I. Inclusion criteria for the experimental group: Meet the clinical diagnosis criteria of Parkinson's disease established by the International Movement Disorders Society (MDS) in 2015. II. Inclusion criteria for the control group: 1. Have no brain injury or structural lesion; 2. Have no nasal or sinus disease or surgery history; 3. Voluntarily participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: I. Exclusion criteria for the experimental group: 1. Exclusion criteria: (1) Other neurological diseases with possible olfactory dysfunction, such as Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, schizophrenia, etc.; (2) History of severe brain injury or intracranial surgery; (3) History of nasal or sinus disease or surgery; (4) Pregnant or breastfeeding women; (5) Recent (within 2 weeks) history of upper respiratory infection; (6) Pregnant or breastfeeding women; (7) Individuals who have poor compliance and are unable to complete olfactory and cognitive tests and magnetic resonance imaging examinations due to poor compliance. II. Exclusion criteria for the control group: (1) Individuals with olfactory test and cognitive function test indicating impairment; (2) History of neuropsychiatric disorders and related drug use; (3) Individuals with severe internal medicine diseases such as heart, liver, and kidney disease; (4) Individuals who are unable to complete cognitive function tests, olfactory function tests, and magnetic resonance imaging examinations due to poor compliance.
