Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria of experimental group a) Age =14 years old; b) History of adenoid hypertrophy =3 months; c) Adenoid grading III or IV; d) In line with the Diagnosis and Treatment Recommendations for Children with nasosinusitis (Kunming, 2012) diagnostic criteria; e) Children/guardians fully understand the purpose of the study, voluntarily participate and sign the informed consent. The control group was included a) Age<13years b) inflammatory proliferative lesions or benign neoplasms of the nasal cavity and sinuses other than adenoid hypertrophy c) Children/guardians fully understand the purpose of the study, voluntarily participate and sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for experimental group a) The patient has previously received any type of endoscopic nasal surgery; b) Use of any antibiotics, antifungal drugs or hormones, including topical, oral or injection, within 1 month before enrollment; c) Other conditions considered inappropriate by the investigator for inclusion in this study. Control group exclusion criteria a) the patient had previously undergone any type of endoscopic nasal surgery b) use of any antibiotics, antifungal drugs, or hormones, topical, oral, or injectable, within 1 month prior to enrollment; other conditions deemed inappropriate for participation in this study.
