Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Confirmation of CA by subendocardial myocardial biopsy or positive Congo red staining on extracardiac biopsy combined with mean left ventricular wall thickness (septum and posterior wall) = 12 mm by echocardiography or CMR; 2) Meeting the MM diagnostic criteria of the 2020 Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Multiple Myeloma. Age- and gender-matched healthy volunteers at the same time were included as controls.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) patients with combined other types of myocardial thickening cardiomyopathy (e.g., hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, Fabry disease, etc.); (2) patients with poorly controlled hypertension; and (3) those with poor quality CMR images that did not meet diagnostic requirements or could not be post-processed.
