Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants were included if they: ? had been diagnosed with HIV-1 infection, ? aged 18 years or older, ? were receiving ART, ? informed consent to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants were excluded if they: ? could not participate in our study because of severe comorbidities, including various opportunistic infections and HIV-associated neurocognitive disorder (HAND), ? they were receiving treatment from a psychologist or a psychiatrist, or ?they were taking part in other HIV-related research projects at the same time.
