Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult (age >=18 years) patients who underwent surgery under general or regional anesthesia at Southern Medical University Nanfang Hospital from 2019 to 2022.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) ASA grade 5 or above (2) Surgery duration less than 30 minutes (3) No testing of blood glucose markers within 30 days prior to surgery (4) Concurrent cardiac, cerebral, or transplant surgery (5) Pre-existing end-stage renal disease or acute myocardial injury, lung injury, or kidney injury (6) Not index surgery
