Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Single knee pain Disease duration of at least 1 year Imaging evidence of tibiofemoral joint redundancy knee Moderated of KOA (Grade I–III per the Kellgren-Lawrence criteria) WOMAC pain subscale score of > 8

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Received any other treatment for KOA pain within the previous month Had serious mental, neurological, infectious, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, immunological, respiratory, or renal disease Had tumor, tuberculosis, rheumatoid or rheumatoid arthritis, gout, lower limb sprain or trauma, or any other chronic pain condition Had communication disorder Positive patellar float test Skin breaches around the knee
