20 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (I) American Society of Anesthesiologists classification score of I-II, (II) patient age in the range of 20–60 years, (III) body mass index (BMI) in the range of 18–22 kg/m2, (IV) no severe visual or hearing impairment, and (V) patients undergoing elective gynecological laparoscopic surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (I) pregnant women with severe preoperative hepatic or renal abnormalities, (II) presence of severe cardiac or pulmonary disease or metabolic disease, (III) history of neurological or psychiatric disease or substance abuse, (III) history of radiotherapy or chemotherapy treatments within 4 weeks, (IV) use of other antiemetic drugs within 48 h before surgery, (V) hypersensitivity to 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) receptors and their preparations, and (VI) patients with prolonged QT interval on electrocardiogram (ECG).
