Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children aged 1-18 years who are clinically diagnosed with MPP have clinical manifestations of pneumonia such as cough and fever and/or imaging changes, and are positive for MP etiology (positive for MP nucleic acid; The single MP antibody titer was = 1:160, and the MP antibody titer was increased or decreased by 4 times or more in the convalescent and acute stages). 2. Patients have large lung consolidation, with or without pleural effusion and atelectasis in Chest CT, and require the treatment with bronchoscopic alveolar lavage.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children who are not suitable, or do not agree to bronchoalveolar lavage. 2.Children who suffered from a serious disease, such as cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, liver disease, blood disease, serious infection or tumor. 3. Children who received azithromycin treatment within 4 weeks before receiving the azithromycin protocol applied in this study. 4. Children who are allergic to azithromycin. 5. Children who participate in other clinical studies within 4 weeks prior to admission.
