18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients 18 to 65 years of age; (2) Patients with periodontitis that can be diagnosed as stage III, class B/C; (3) The patient has not received any periodontal treatment within 5 years; (4) The patient had lesions with a periodontal pocket depth of =6 mm and a horizontal probing depth of =3 mm at the root furcation of a pair of mandibular molars bilaterally, with translucent images in the root furcation area on imaging. Periodontal surgery may have been performed after initial periodontal therapy due to the ifurcation involvement.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients suffering from uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes and other systemic diseases; (2) Pregnant and breastfeeding women; (3) Patients who do not wish to sign the informed consent form.
