Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. All patients are diagnosed with NSCLC or SCLC and undergo thoracoscopic or thoracotomy surgery. 2. Adult patients (>18 years of age). 3. Were admitted to the ICU for the first time. 4. Had an expected ICU stay >48 h. 5. Richmond Agitation Sedation Scale (RASS) score from -1 to 1. 6. the Barthel Index > 60 before ICU admission.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Deformity, paralysis, or postoperation of limbs. 2. A pre-existing primary systemic neuromuscular disease that affects muscle strength (e.g., Guillain Barre, myasthenia gravis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). 3. Install a pacemaker. 4. Severe heart failure and rhythm. 5. Limb fractures, tumors, thigh burns, or skin diseases can affect people with neuromuscular electrical stimulation. 6. Pregnant woman. 7. Participants who Reject to join the study.
