Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Over 18 years of age. (2) Invasive mechanical ventilation patients who received aerosol inhalation therapy and esophageal pressure monitoring.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) esophageal obstruction, esophageal perforation, severe esophageal variceal bleeding, upper gastrointestinal surgery, etc.; (2) thoracic malformation, diaphragmatic hernia, placement of chest tube; (3) severe heart, liver, kidney and other organ failure, hemodynamic instability; (4) end stage of pregnancy and tumor; (5) coagulation dysfunction (INR > 1.5s, APTT > 44s). (6) central or peripheral nervous system diseases or neuromuscular diseases; (7) palliative treatment.
