18 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Patients requiring invasive mechanical ventilation, including 8 patients with COPD, 8 patients with ARDS, and 8 patients with other disorder types; ? Adult patients (=18 years old), regardless of gender; ? Patients who agree to participate in this trial and sign the "subject informed consent".

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Contraindications of esophageal catheter insertion; Gastric ulcers, esophageal varices, pharynx or laryngeal tumors, etc. ? Pregnant women; ? Patients deemed unsuitable by the investigators.
