Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1)Age=18 years.(2)Patients who do not have the ability to produce sputum spontaneously and are indications for nonartificial airway suction, including:?Auscultation of the lungs reveals sputum sounds;?the appearance of cough reflex; ?respiratory distress;? Blood oxygen saturation decreased progressively compared with the previous one; ?Patients complained of respiratory discomfort and the need for suctioning. (3) Voluntary participation, signed informed consent by the patient or his/her designated agent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1)Patients with severe heart disease; (2) Lung cancer and lobectomy; (3) laryngospasm, bronchospasm; (4) Mouth, nose, and airway trauma; (5) Patients with coagulation dysfunction; (6) Severe head injury; (7) Severe hypertension; (8) hemodynamically unstable; (9) Spinal cord injury or fracture; (10) Those who undergo abdominal surgery; (11) Those who install pacemakers and heart rhythm defibrillators; (12) Those who are in an environment using non-invasive cardiac output monitors, surgical electrosurgery or strong magnetic fields.
