Chronic tendon rupture accompanied by defect

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1)MRI shows discontinuity in Achilles tendon; (2)Clear history of injury more than 4 weeks with clinical presentation of pain, motion limitation, plantar flexion deficiency and inability to raise heel on one foot; (3) Physical exam shows incontinuity by palpation, Thompson (+); (4) Age 18-65 y/o; (5) During surgery, defect measurement larger than 5cm and fixed by using autologous half of peroneous longus tendon; (6) Follow-up time more than 2 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients clearly refuse to be part of any studies; (2) Patients lost in follow-up or follow-up time less than 2 years; (3) Patients have commodities such as fracture of calcaneus, tibia or fibula.
