18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patient's age is 18-65 years old (2) Indications for periodontal regenerative surgery were met and there were no contraindications to surgery (3) Distal PD of the final molar =6 mm, CBCT showing the presence of 2- and 3-wall introbony pockets in the distal with a depth of =3 mm and isolated pockets that do not exceed the distal mesial axial angle (4) Lack of keratinized gingiva in the distal of the final molar (5) This molar is not more than I° loose (6) The patient is a nonsmoker or has quit smoking preoperatively (7) The patient could complete follow-up visits and gave informed consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) The patient is pregnant/lactating (2) Suffering from systemic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, etc. that affect tissue healing (3) Orthodontic forces on the affected teeth within six months after surgery (4) Uncontrollable occlusal trauma of the affected teeth before surgery (5) Caries, defects, fillings, and restorations involving the root surfaces in the distal of the last molar.
