Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Study group inclusion criteria: A. meet the criteria for first diagnosis of depressive disorder in ICD-10 or DSM-5 or have not taken antidepressants for at least two weeks; B. Han Chinese residents, aged 18 to 60 years, male or female; C. primary school education or above; D. voluntary participation in this study. The control group was included in the criteria: A. Han Chinese residents, aged 18 to 60 years old, male or female; B. primary school education or above; C. voluntary participation in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were the same in both groups: A. Consistent with DSM-IV axis I other diagnoses, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, etc.; B. Serious physical diseases accompanied by poor control, such as coronary heart disease, abnormal thyroid function, etc.; C. History of craniocerebral trauma leading to loss of consciousness, or history of epilepsy; D. Any serious physical illness, treated with chronic medication; and/or history of substance abuse/dependenceE. pregnant or lactating women, or people planning to become pregnant (childbearing); F. recent history of fever, acute infection, infectious diseases, etc.
