Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) age between 18-90 years old; 2) the proximal extent of aortic dissection is located at zone 1 or zone 2; 3) patients underwent surgical treatment, which include endovascular, hybrid or open repair.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) congenital aortic dysplasia, such as right aortic arch, right sided descending aorta, coarctation of the aorta, interruption of aortic arch, aberrant subclavian artery, bovine arch, isolated vertebral artery etc. 2) history of ascending aortic replacement, with type A intramual hematoma, with occluded supra-arch artery, with trauma as etiology, inherited connective tissue disorders, rare vascular malformation, or refuse the surgery; 3) have stroke or ST elevation myocardial infarction within 30 days before the operation; 4) have any major surgery or intervention which exceed grade 3 within 30 days before the operation; 5) plan to have any major surgery or intervention which exceed grade 3 within 30 days after the operation; 6) need simultaneous surgery for the heart or the aortic root, and the use of medication will be changed accordingly; 7) have severe illness (such as COPD, malignancy, dementia etc) or fragile state which will influence the compliance of participants; 8) currently participating in other research.
