Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Meets diagnostic criteria for primary unilateral knee osteoarthritis. ? The course of the disease was found to be in the early to middle stage when referred to the Consensus of four-step ladder programme of knee osteoarthritis. ? Age of the participants ranged between 40 and 75 years, regardless of their genders. ? The body mass index 30mm. ? Affliction of spontaneous pain in the affected knee, stiffness under the hand when the doctor palpates the affected lateral femoral muscle, or the conscious feeling of significant pain on the affected side when palpated compared to the healthy side by the participant. ? Those who have not taken any other medication or treatment in the past three months. ? Participants cooperate in the completion of the trial and sign the informed consent form voluntarily and competently.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Localised acute inflammation in the affected knee with symptoms of swelling, heat, and pain; or severe deformity of the affected knee or lower limb alignment. ? Being pregnant or breastfeeding. ? Those treated for knee osteoarthritis by other means in the last 3 months, which will influence the judgement of the study results. Those who have had knee surgery in the last 6 months. ? Combination of other diseases with lower limb pain, such as lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spinal stenosis, or combination of lower limb vascular lesions. ? Engaged in professional sports or manual labour. ? Presence of uncontrolled or undiagnosed medical conditions. ? Those who refuse to accept FSN. ? Those who have leukaemia, thrombocytopenia, and other diseases with a bleeding tendency. ? Those who have serious systemic skin or local skin diseases of the lower limbs. ? Non primary knee osteoarthritis.
