Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Grades 3-9; (2) Center for Epidemiological Research Depression Scale-Revised (CESD-R) total score = 16 points are considered to be at risk of depression; (3) Children and their caregivers provide informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Severe psychopathological conditions requiring urgent medical intervention; 2) a high risk of suicide (for example, recent suicide attempts or plans); 3) shows difficulty in receiving or expressing language (written or oral); 4) Currently receiving other mental health treatment in addition to regular treatment.
