Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients diagnosed with primary liver cancer and treated for the first time (2) Insufficient liver volume remaining after direct surgical resection of the tumor (FLR < 40% in cirrhosis and < 30% in non-cirrhosis) (3) The main surgical methods were ALPPS or PVE two-step hepatectomy (4) Complete clinical data

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC), metastatic liver cancer, etc (2) History of liver cancer treatment before surgery (3) Extensive tumor metastasis (4) The interval between the first and second operations was more than 6 months
