Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1 ) Critically ill patients admitted to the ICU of our hospital from October 1,2023 ; And 2 ) Conform to the diagnostic criteria of sepsis 3.0 ; And 3 ) Age = 18 years ; And 4 ) Patients with community-acquired pneumonia infected by drug-resistant bacteria ; And 5 ) Patients met the diagnostic criteria for sepsis and community-acquired pneumonia developed by the American Society of Critical Care Medicine ; And 6 ) CAP-sepsis group was defined according to the infection indications of patients with community-acquired pneumonia complicated with sepsis and the SOFA score of severe patients ( sepsis patients with SOFA score = 2 ).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1 ) age < 18 years ; 2 ) pregnant and lactating women ; 3 ) Patients with hematological diseases such as sickle cell anemia ; 4 ) Long-term use of immunosuppressants and glucocorticoids ; 5 ) Hemoglobinopathy ; 6 ) HIV positive patients ; 7 ) Incomplete case information ; 8 ) Any other disease or treatment that may affect red blood cell metabolism (chronic kidney disease, heart valve prosthesis, chemotherapy, taking anticoagulants, etc. ).
