Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients receiving surgical treatment for esophageal cancer in our hospital from January 2015 to July 2021. The tumor did not develop distant metastasis. No other tumors were present.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Re-operation within 24 hours after surgery (not for the treatment of anastomotic leakage). 2. Intraoperative death. 3. Lack of clinicopathological data; 4. Not replaced with a tubular stomach (such as colon or jejunal replacement); 5. Patients with acute infectious diseases such as severe tuberculosis, syphilis, and HIV infection; 6. Severe liver, kidney, heart and other important organ failure before surgery.
