Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria consisted of participants who met the following requirements: (a) aged 60 years or older, (b) residing in nursing homes, (c) possessing autonomy and normal communication abilities, and (d) providing signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria included individuals who met any of the following conditions: (a) limitations in activities of daily living (ADL=60); (b) moderate or severe cognitive impairment (SPMSQ=5); (c) participation in other psychosocial interventions during the study period; and (d) significant visual or hearing impairments, as well as psychiatric disorders.
