Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Conform to the World Health Organization (WHO) definition of 'health' 2. Right-handed individuals, aged between 18 and 80 years 3. No history of neurological, psychological, or musculoskeletal disorders 4. No history of fainting during acupuncture 5. No recent peripheral stimulation interventions (such as acupuncture, peripheral electrical stimulation, etc.) or central stimulation interventions (such as rTMS, tDCS) in the past three months 6. Voluntarily participate in the study and provide informed consent by signing the consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of mental disorders such as schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. 2. Presence of neurological disorders including traumatic brain injury, posterior fossa diseases, spasms, trigeminal neuralgia, Jackson epilepsy, post-paralytic spasm of facial nerve, blepharospasm, cognitive disorders, speech disorders, and dementia. 3. History of severe conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, malignant tumors, as well as severe heart, liver, kidney, or other organ diseases. 4. Presence of metallic residues in the body (including dentures, pacemakers, neurostimulators, medical pumps, etc.). 5. Fear of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) or other reasons preventing TMS stimulation. 6. Fear of acupuncture, skin infections near acupuncture points, or coagulation disorders. 7. Pregnant or lactating women.
