Electroacupuncture group:Electroacupuncture was added to the treatment of the control group. Acupoint prescription includes the main points: bilateral Zusanli, Hegu, Tianshu, and Geshu

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Meets the above diagnostic criteria for sepsis; (2) Age between 18-80 years; (3) Patients or proxies were free of psychiatric disorders and voluntarily signed an informed consent form before randomization.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Participation as a subject in other clinical trials in the last three months; (2) Sepsis diagnosis for more than 48 hours; (3) Pregnant and lactating women; (4) Patients with immunodeficiency class disorders or who are using immunosuppressive or immunoenhancing agents; (5) History of malignant tumors; (6) Death expected within 48 hours, or SOFA = 15 points, or APACHE II = 30 points; (7) Contraindications to acupuncture treatment, such as skin breakdown, infection, and severe coagulation disorders.
