Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Athlete group inclusion criteria General undergraduate students of Chengdu Institute of Physical Education specializing in sports, male. (1) Physically healthy, no history of major diseases, right-handed. (2) Long-term regular participation in sports training > 2 years, IPAQ short-form scale assessment of medium/high physical activity. (3) No physical fatigue due to strenuous exercise in the last week. (4) Have not participated in cognitively relevant experiments on exercise interventions. (5) No history of alcohol/drug abuse. Non-smokers: (1) Have smoked less than 10 cigarettes in their lifetime. Smokers: (1) Smoked =10 cigarettes per day in the past 6 months. (2) Nicotine Dependence Test Scale FTND =6. 2. 2. Inclusion criteria for the non-athlete group: General undergraduate students of Chengdu Institute of Physical Education who are not specialized in sports, male. (1) Healthy, no history of major diseases, right-handed. (2) No exercise habits, able to complete 30 minutes of running/power cycling. (3) No physical fatigue due to strenuous exercise in the last week. (4) Have not participated in cognitive trials of exercise interventions. (5) No history of alcohol/drug abuse. Non-smokers: (1) Have smoked less than 10 cigarettes in their lifetime. Smokers: (1) Smoked =10 cigarettes per day in the past 6 months. (2) Nicotine Dependence Test Scale FTND =6.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion Criteria for the Athlete Group: (1) Use of tea (milk tea), alcohol, coffee within 24 hours before the test. (2) Taking medication (e.g. blood pills) on the day of the test. (3) Participating in strenuous exercise before the test, resulting in physical fatigue or muscle pain. (4) BMI >24 or BMI <18.5. Non-smokers: (1) Close exposure to second-hand smoke on the day of testing. Smokers: (1) Smoking within 2 hours prior to the start of the test. 4. 2. Non-athlete group exclusion criteria: (1) Use of tea (milk tea), alcohol, or coffee within 24 hours prior to the test. (2) Taking medication on the day of the test (e.g., blood thinners, etc.).
