Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Tibial plateau fracture (within three weeks) (2) Cases meet the definition of "hyperextension varus tibial plateau fracture"
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Cases do not meet the definition of "hyperextension tibial plateau fracture." (2) Open or pathological fracture (3) Age =16 (4) Multiple trauma with injury severity score ISS > 16; (5) Fractures associated with non-avulsion fractures of the ipsilateral tibial shaft, femur, or patella
