Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age range from 18 to 64 years old; (2) The patient meets the diagnostic criteria for prehypertension and mild hypertension in the "2018 Revised Chinese Hypertension Prevention and Treatment Guidelines" issued by the Chinese Hypertension Prevention and Treatment Guidelines Revision Committee: prehypertension: 120mmHg = SBP = 139mmHg and/or 80mmHg = DBP = 89mmHg, mild hypertension: 140mmHg = SBP = 159mmHg and/or 90mmHg = DBP = 99mmHg; (3) The patient or family member signs an informed consent form to cooperate with the treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Secondary hypertension; (2) People with heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, kidney disease, diabetes and other target organ damage or accompanied by clinical diseases; (3) Individuals with severe mental disorders (Zung's Self Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) = 70 and/or Zung's Self Rating Depression Scale (SDS) = 73), cognitive, emotional, or sleep disorders; (4) Women who are pregnant or plan to conceive within the next 6 months; (5) Taking antihypertensive drugs within the past month; (6) Received acupuncture treatment within the past month; (7) Participating in other clinical researchers.
