Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) aged over 18 years old, (2) provided a signed informed consent, (3) presented with resectable esophageal cancer(cT1-4aNxM0)(TNM staging, 8th edition), (4)underwent radical esophageal cancer surgery (McKeown or Ivor-Lewist esophagectomy; esophageal reconstruction using stomach, pedicled jejunum or colon)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1)refused to answer the survey or dropped out, (2)received pulmonary surgery or radiotherapy before surgery, (3)Postoperative TNM stage pT4bNxMx, (4) R1 or R2 resection.
