Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1: The diagnosis fit the criteria for major depressive disorder or bipolar disorder in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fifth edition, DSM-5 2: Aged 18 or above 3: Have a history of suicide, suicide = suicide attempt, interrupted suicide attempt, suicide preparation (such as writing a suicide note, selling/giving away all property) 4: Patient and his/her guardian agreed to participate in this study and provide written informed consent 5: Recruited from psychiatric or psychological discharged patients and psychiatric or psychological outpatients and patients receiving community services
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1: Patient with severe physical or cognitive impairment was unable to complete follow-up 2: Psychiatrist believes that this type of follow-up may be harmful for the patient. 3: Living in an institutional environment(such as Hospital patient, prison, military) 4: Participated in follow-up study that overlap with this study. 5: Patient and his/her guardian can't use smartphones and WeChat
