Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) age = 18 years. (2) presence of cardiogenic shock due to various causes. (3) Absence of infection observed in clinical manifestations (fever), laboratory examination (white blood count, procalcitonin, chest radiograph), and specimen pathogen test before admission.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients infected before admission and (2) LOS < 48 h.
