18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic patients with with significant hyperglycemia or hyperglycemia-related symptoms who are hospitalized in the endocrinology department beginning July 2023 and require intensive insulin treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Type 1 diabetes mellitus, secondary diabetes mellitus, GADA antibody-positive patients, patients with severe and acute complications of diabetes mellitus, patients with severe infectious diseases, patients using drugs that affect glucose metabolism such as corticosteroids, patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, patients with severe liver or renal insufficiency.
