Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All the cases meet the diagnostic criteria of depressive disorder in the diagnostic and Statistical Manual of mental disorders - Fifth Edition (DSM-V); 2. Patients on stable medication; 3. Age: 18-65 years old; 4. Right-handed subjects; 5. Patients with normal cognition; 6. Patients fully understand the clinical trial and sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria for other mental disorders, such as schizophrenia; 2. MRI scan contraindications, such as claustrophobia; rTMS treatment contraindications, such as metal implants; 3. Combined history of epilepsy; 4. Current or past participants in other physical therapy (such as deep brain stimulation DBS, ECT, rTMS); 5. Combined with organic brain diseases (such as ischemic stroke, cerebral hemorrhage, brain tumor, etc.) and a history of severe brain trauma; 6. Complicated with serious heart, liver, kidney diseases, diabetes, and other serious physical diseases; 7. Women of childbearing age who are pregnant, breastfeeding, and who intend or may become pregnant during the trial; 8. Chronic drug or alcohol addiction, dependence, or intoxication within the past year; 9. A first-degree relative with bipolar disorder; 10. A significant risk of suicide; 11. Those who have difficulty in verbal communication to the extent that they cannot communicate, understand or follow instructions normally, and cannot cooperate with treatment and evaluation;
